Why was Wallis Simpson denied . . .?
Why was Wallis Simpson denied the style of "royal highness" when she married the Duke of Windsor in 1937, while Marie Christine von Reibnitz's marriage in 1978 to Prince Michael of Kent resulted in her being styled as Her Royal Highness Princess Michael of Kent, especially as both women were previously divorced?
