Cheap places to live in Kent? (2011)?

Cheapest places are on Sheppey or around Margate - and they are cheap for a reason -they are dumps!!! No hope of getting work and full of chavs. Medway towns are quite cheap but also have some very rough parts. Shopping is about the same price everywhere and depends on where you shop, what you eat etc but for one person, around �30 a week is doable. Rent is anything from �350 for a one bed flat in the worst areas to �600+ in the better areas. Rural areas are also cheaper on the whole - but you will pay a lot more getting around as public transport is not the best!
